Research eye tracking laboratories are presented as “series” units as they are often tailored to the specific needs of the research context. These systems set the standard for performance in top laboratories throughout the world. They include eye imaging and tracking features to make the data collection process as streamlined as possible for the accommodation of high subject throughput volumes. Research lab systems have been configured for human subjects of course, but also non-human primates, dogs, cats, mice, rats, rabbits, horses, lemurs and others. ISCAN has created specialized eye imaging and processing electronics that can optionally produce lab versions with sample rates greater than 1000 Hz and resolution of a few arc minutes of visual angle. Customized optics, illumination, mechanical mounts and software can also be produced to meet wide ranging research needs.
Remote Mounted:
ETL200 Series Primate/Rodent Eye Tracking Lab
The standard ETL200 eye tracking laboratory operates at a user selectable 120 or 240 Hz sample rate. It features a pan/tilt mounted eye imaging apparatus with solid state IR illuminator and optics customized to produce the highest quality eye images without subject distraction or discomfort. Hundreds of neuroscience laboratories worldwide have replaced their magnetic search coil systems with ISCAN’s non-invasive video based approach.

ETL300 Series Binocular Point-of-Regard Tracking Lab
The standard ETL300 is a complete free head, remote, binocular eye tracking laboratory that measures pupil sizes and point-of-regard data of a human subject at a 60 Hz temporal rate. The system features a dedicated short range eye imaging package which images both eyes and electronic pan/tilt functionality. The ETL300 is capable of automatically following subject head movements and re-acquiring the subject’s eyes if they leave and then return to the active 1 cu.ft. operational area. Optional versions allow for longer range eye imaging.

ETL400 Series Point-of-Regard Tracking Lab
The standard ETL400 is a complete remote, eye tracking laboratory that measures monocular or binocular pupil sizes and point-of-regard data of a human subject at a 60 Hz temporal rate. The system features a remotely controlled, flexible eye imaging package with pan/tilt, zoom, focus and iris controls. Optionally, the ETL400 can be configured for short, medium and long range eye imaging applications and higher sample rates.
Head Mounted:
ETL500A Series Monocular Point-of-Regard Tracking Lab
The ETL500A (MonoSight™) system provides an unobtrusive and lightweight method to monitor pupil size and point-of-regard of tethered human subjects in experiments that require significant head and body movements. Miniature head mounted eye and scene cameras capture the action at a 60 Hz rate and video processing electronics calculate the raw eye data and point-of-regard in real time. The ETL500A can be optionally configured for higher sample rates.

ETL500B Series Binocular Point-of-Regard Tracking Lab
The ETL500B (DuoSight™) system provides an unobtrusive and lightweight method to monitor pupil size and point-of-regard of tethered human subjects in contexts that require extensive head and body movements. Separate head mounted imagers capture both eyes and the scene viewed by the subject. The binocular eye imaging setup allows the system to automatically adjust the eye point-of-regard data for any depth of focus in the subject’s field of view. The ETL500B can be optionally configured for higher sample rates.
